“Landscapes show our reciprocal relationshipwith nature, and still lifes are products of the land. Still life objects are randomly placed, and are often combined with landscape. I aim for energy, color, and movement. I combine clear representation and spontaneous lines of drawing through larger paint areas, for the joy I feel in the activity of painting.”
